I am going to speak for a few minutes about what your chances are of stopping your divorce and getting back with your ex. If you’re young and are dating people your own age it can be fairly simple to get your ex back but stopping a divorce can be a little more tricky.

We’ve all seen Hollywood films with beautiful stories about people splitting up but then getting back together and saving their marriage. Real life is so much different to the movies though and things hardly ever work out the way you want them too.

Marriages breaking up are simply more difficult to fix again as the decision to get a divorce is normally reached after much discussion. Getting a divorce usually comes with a lot of financial consequences and headaches.

Perhaps the biggest worry on this subject is what will become of the family home. It may need to be sold and then the money split or just one of you moving out and finding somewhere else. Whichever you decide, it will impact you both emotionally and financially.

If there’s children involved that only makes things worse. Fights for child custody can often get messy and feelings will be more resentful than ever.

Prior to making the decision to get a divorce, it is therefore easy to see that there is a lot to consider. Making the decision to go ahead with a divorce after these issues have been considered often means that a person is determined to get it over with.

Once the ball is rolling and solicitors fees are being paid it can become even harder to turn things around. Divorce is often seen as the end of something bad and the start of something new and exciting, which is why it can be very hard to change someone’s mind once they are thinking like this.

Sorting out a divorce is so much harder than if you are young in a casual relationship. It is a regular thing for young couples to repeatedly break up then get back together.

However married couples tend not to get back together, nearly half of all marriages in America end in divorce, it is astonishing. Of course you should try to fix things if you want to, but it is unlikely that you will succeed at all.
