I’ve heard from a lot of men that being a nice guy just doesn’t get things going with women. The guy with the little black book, who might or might not ring you, who acts as if life won’t really turn for the worse whether you accept or refuse a date with him, seems to be the one with all the women.

Of course women want men to treat them nicely, but they too love a little challenge. Confident guys seem to be more trustworthy, that’s why a lot of women are attracted to them. This type of man seems to stand up for his beliefs and values no matter how much we may moan, plead, argue, or carry on for him to change. A ‘nice guy’ on the contrary, will typically fold under pressure and accede to anything his woman asks of him. While women enjoy this as they continue to win on pretty much every challenge, they will believe they have won over a guy and lose a bit of respect for him.

What does this mean for men? Well, it doesn’t mean you have to be a jerk. The first strategy is to find confidence in yourself. Let the women know you like them, but don’t make it appear that your life takes the standstill when they’re not around.. You can always feel your way into a relationship and give her some attention when you think it’s needed.

Don’t fold up to a woman’s every desire. She may begin to ignore your value as a person or she may expect to get her way all the time. Give in when there’s reason to, but not at every pleading. When a woman recognized you’re simply sensible rather than too hard on her, she will be happier. You may think that by not conceding to a woman’s desires, she will think that you don’t love her. You can exhibit your love in more rewarding ways. A good way to show a woman you love her is by doing things she doesn’t ask for. Surprise her with breakfast in bed or praise her out of the blue instead of when it is being solicited. Don’t be a lapdog when it comes to love and relationships. Do the unexpected rather than what people expect from you. You are being natural instead of being predictable. You really don’t have to be a rascal, just a confident nice guy who is true to himself.
