How long will Tooth White lightening last?

The Tooth White lightening results of different bleaching strategies can last for one or two years, but this varies from person to person. Research on dentist prescribed “home” bleaching treatment has found that for people who achieved awhiter shade, only half of them still had better teeth six months later. Your eating, drinking, smoking and brushing habits may have an impact on how long these Tooth White treatments last.

Itis important to remember that bleaching doesn’t always result in the whiteness that you expect. The results alter from person to person and depend on the shade of your teeth before bleaching. Special concerns

There are some instances when a dentist may recommend that you don’t have bleaching. As an example, if you have tooth decay, this may be treated before beginning any Tooth White lightening treatments. Similarly, your gums should be healthy, so if you’ve got any gum disease this is going to be dealt with.

If your teeth are highly sensitive to cold and warm food or drinks, bleaching might not be recommended because to get that Tooth White grin, a certain degree of sensitivity might need to be endured.

Side effects include temporary sensitivity of the teeth to hot and cold, a sore throat, tender gums and white patches on the gums. These complications should disappear after a few days.
